I happened to be watching Maleficent as I sat down to do my nails, but I prefer the version of her in Sleeping Beauty so the look was more inspired by that. So many people have done Maleficent themed nails so it probably wasn’t the most original of ideas, but I liked how it turned out!
Index and pinky - 2 coats of Dance Legend Inhale, stamped with Cult Nails Nevermore using Messy Mansion MM27 Middle finger - 2 coats of Dance Legend Just Another Star, stamped with Cult Nails Nevermore using DRK-C Ring Finger - 2 coats of Dance Legend Inhale with everything else done with acrylic paint.
I have the toughest time photographing holographic polishes, but the Wow Prisms from Dance Legend are the hardest for me to capture. You’ll just have to take my word for it that they’re swoon-worthy in person!
"Come In, Won’t You…. There’s nothing to Fear…."😈. Haunted Halloween House👻🎃. Polishes for this one are @picturepolish 😘😘Instinct and Black. Also #Opi Keeping Suzi at Bay from @hbbeautybar 😘😘. Plus Black acrylic craft paint. 👻🎃😈. 🎥video shortly😁 via Instagram http://ift.tt/XYH0o8
This is what happens when I decide to paint my nails at 1am… hah! I also decided, in this fuzzy-brained state, that it was a good idea to mess about with the macro settings on my camera. Let’s just pretend that I intended it to be all soft-focus.
I used 2 coats of each of the following… OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook (blue), OPI Toucan Do It If You Try (coral), a franken that started life as OPI Green-wich Village (green) and a franken that used to be Sally Hansen Good To Grape (purple). Everything else was done with acrylic paint.
If I re-did this I would make the eyeballs bigger and the mouths smaller, I think it’d look more appealing that way.
Nails inspired by Jennifer E Smith’s The Geography of You and Me.
I was lucky enough to get to meet Jennifer (Lisa Price was there too and I loved the dress she had on) awhile ago. She was super nice and when she saw my nails I was surprised when she recognized them. No one could tell but deep inside I was crying.
I got books signed and got a ton of pictures with my other book blogger friends. Recap will be up on the book blog soon. I hope.
Nail polish used: China Glaze Wait N’ Sea
Shoutout to National Bookstore for inviting two fabulous authors to the Philippines. Amazing. Can’t wait for next month’s signing! NBS is bringing over Madeleine Roux and Claudia Gray.
This Dragon Roses Tattoo design was done for a mani swap with Nahkouradoesnails on Instagram.
Yes. I changed my nail shaped and filed them down. I think it was a huge mistake. The new shape and length make my fingers look funny. I’m going back to long length ASAP. But I really like this tattoo design.
